Riding Hacks & Lessons

Instructional Rides
Lessons for beginners, or those who are a little rusty. This is a much more enjoyable way for you to learn and we believe it also makes for a happier horse.

1 Hour Ride
Meander along the banks of the River Till, canter through the woods and see if you can spy the occasional red squirrel or roe deer.
2 Hour Moor Ride
Enjoy the panoramic views of the coast to the east and the Cheviots to the west, as you ride across bracken moors, streams and through woods. Interesting flora and fauna are to be seen throughout the year.

Your safety as well as your enjoyment are our priorities.

We have over 35 horses and ponies
ranging from Barney Rubble at 10 hands high to Josh at over 17hh. All riders are escorted by members of staff to ensure that families of mixed abilities can enjoy rides together. For the experienced, our horses are forward going.many riders are surprised by their willingness.

Between morning and afternoon rides we recomend a trip to the local pub for refreshments. Young people could bring a packed lunch, or we can provide lunch if necessary.
