INSTRUCTIONAL RIDES
Horse riding lessons for beginners, or those who are a little rusty. This is a much more enjoyable way for you to learn and we believe it also makes for a happier horse.
FOR THE NOVICE OR EXPERIENCED RIDER
A one or a two hour ride through the fields and woods surrounding Kimmerston.
These rides take you down quiet roads to fields with wide riding margins, or to skirt the edge of woods, or to climb the higher fields with views towards the Cheviot Hills.
The views are spectacular whatever the weather. Keen eyes may spot deer, hares, buzzards, and the occasional glider from the nearby airfield at Milfield.
MOOR RIDE
Enjoy the panoramic views of the coast to the east and the Cheviots to the west, as you ride across bracken moors on Ford Moss or through streams and woods. Interesting flora and fauna are to be seen throughout the year, including if you are lucky, a glimpse of the wild ponies who live on Ford Moss.

PRICES
A half hour Lead Rein for the young (Minimum age 5) or Novice: £12
| 1 HOUR RIDE | Adult: £30 | Child under 12: £20 |
| 2 HOUR RIDE | Adult: £50 | Child under 12: £40 |
| 1 HOUR INSTRUCTIONAL RIDE | Adult: £35 | Child under 12: £25 |
| 2 HOUR MOOR | Adult: £60 | Child under 12: £45 |
Private rides can be arranged with an additional charge of £5 an hour
Hire of hats and boots: £1 person
Please note we do not take credit cards. Cash, cheques or BACS (in advance) only. Please also note, in the interest of the welfare of our horses, the maximum weight you can be to ride is 17.5 stone or 111 kg.
